My Story

Lairin K. Taylor is an entertainment attorney, entrepreneur, and founder of LK Taylor & Associates, PC. Over the last decade, Taylor has built a practice that has placed him across the table from major record labels, publishers, distributors, and some of Atlanta’s most established entertainment law firms, representing talent at the highest levels of the music business. Taylor’s client roster has included Iniko, Reason, Grammy nominated producer Slim Wav, Nephew Jones, Cuzzos, Wande Coal, Cozz, and numerous other artists, producers, executives, and entertainment companies. His experience also includes legal work involving Angie Stone, the Braxton family, and members of 112.

Known as a playmaker behind the scenes, Taylor is often involved well beyond the contract. He advises clients on career defining recording and publishing deals, catalog and intellectual property matters, distribution, touring, brand partnerships, business strategy, and high stakes disputes. His role is simple: know the deal, know the leverage, and make sure his client is never the least prepared person at the table.
Taylor built LK Taylor & Associates from the ground up and has grown without losing the personal involvement that helped build its reputation. He is equally comfortable helping an emerging artist structure their first deal or negotiating against the lawyers representing some of the biggest companies in entertainment.

A graduate of Morehouse College and Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, Taylor has also extended his work into entertainment technology through EasyTract, an AI powered platform designed to modernize access to everyday music industry agreements. Taylor’s philosophy is unapologetically client first. The name on the other side of the table does not change the approach. Major label, major firm, or major corporation, the expectation is the same: his clients will be taken seriously.
